Process Series Information
The Series 300 probe enables remote near-IR measurements of heated and pressurized clear to slightly scattering liquid process streams. To perform this measurement two probes are required; one for transmitting the radiant energy and the other for collecting. These probes use an optically efficient radius sapphire window to perform high transmission of a collimated beam. Removable pre-set fixed path length spacers are available as an option.
The Series 400 probe allows remote spectroscopic measurement of highly scattering material. This probe uses a special, optically designed sapphire window concentrator along with the unique bundling of the fibers that optimize the collection efficiency while virtually eliminating undesirable background noise.
The Series 500 probe enables remote near-IR measurement of heated and pressurized clear or translucent liquid process streams. The innovative optical arrangement of the probe provides a true single pass transmission design with superior quantitative performance. The probe can easily be connected to two 600 micron single fiber assemblies. An internal purge capability as well as variable path length configurations are available
Series 600 Transflectance Probes
The Series 600 provides remote spectroscopic transmission measurement of heated and pressurized clear or slightly scattering liquid process streams. The probe contains two internal 600 micron fibers or an integral bifurcated micro fiber assembly. Interchangeable fixed and variable path length mirror tips are available. This is a double-pass design, which makes the effective path length twice the physical gap. A special probe configuration can also be provided that combines the capability of both transflectance as well as diffuse reflectance measurement.
The Series 700 cell is fiber coupled for unattended side-stream or in-line monitoring of heated and pressurized liquid process streams or gas mediums. The cell consists of two optically efficient sapphire windows that create a wide collimated beam across the interior of the cell. Options include precision spacers to adjust path length, channels for fluid temperature control, temperature sensor and clean out port.
