Probes manufactured for single fiber operation include, unless otherwise specified, a 600 micron ultra low -OH Silica Fiber with a .22 NA and SMA 905 compatible bulkhead connectors. Micro bundle fiber optic cables are also available for most designs.

The probes are typically fabricated from 316/316L Stainless Steel. Other materials are available based upon specific customer requirements.

All probe seals are tested and certified to MIL-STD by helium mass spectrometer. Probes are provided with test certification as to test method and conditions. Standard probe diameters of greater than 0.5″ are certified to 5,000 PSI and 300ºC. Probes 0.5″ and smaller are certified to 3,000 PSI and 300ºC. Custom probe designs are tested and certified to meet specific customer application requirements.
